Giving Tuesday 3rd December 2019

On Tuesday the 3rd of December, the world unites for Giving Tuesday. A day that follows both Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it encourages us to all give back in some capacity.

This upcoming Giving Tuesday we invite all local businesses to do their part for Camden Giving, giving back to the local community in what can be an indulgent time of year. Youth services in Camden change lives, it costs us £100 on average to pay for a young person to join a youth club. For Giving Tuesday we are asking you to change at least one young life in Camden by donating £100.

Through bake sales, Camden Giving inspired products, social events or challenger events, your business can make an impactful change for the young people of Camden this Giving Tuesday.

Camden Giving Week 13th - 19th May 2019

A huge Camden Giving thank you to all the brilliant local businesses who came together to support their local community during Camden Giving Week during May 2019.

Bespoke beard oil, cheese and wine nights, a Camden Giving designed watch and endless tasty food and drink to name just a few were all purchased in support of Camden Giving during the week. The huge variety of support reflects the generosity of all the businesses who joined Camden Giving in raising vital funds for the community during a week of local celebration.

Fundraising Ideas

If you are a local business, social enterprise or community group and you want to do something for Camden Giving, here are a few ideas:

Why choose to support Camden Giving?

Inequality in Camden is growing year on year, a third of children in Camden live in poverty and average life expectancy in the poorest wards is 10 years less than the wealthiest wards.

Knife crime has risen faster in the past 18 months than anywhere else in the UK

Homeless in Camden has risen by over 600% in the last 12 months.

Help us to pool funds for disability, youth empowerment, women and inequality, and continue our work for small local charities by offering workshops, specialist support, and capacity building events.
