A Participatory Debate with The Future Changemakers

  • Collective Hub 5-7 Buck Street London, England, NW1 8NJ United Kingdom (map)

A Participatory Debate to celebrate the work of Camden Giving's #FutureChangemakers and amplify the voices of young people.

Book your ticket here.

What would a 16 year old do if they had power to make real decisions about their community? This was one of the questions we asked ourselves in February 2018 when 2 young people tragically lost their lives in Camden during 1 night.

Fast forward to June 2019 and 10 young Camdenites came together came together to distribute £85,000 of funding to 9 different local charities, we call them the #FutureChangemakers, because they are changing the future of our community. Thank you to the National Lottery community Fund, Argent, Camden Watch Co., Camden Town Unlimited, Euston Town and The Span Trust who put their trust, money and faith in Camden’s young people.

To celebrate the Future Changemakers work, our friends, Word On The Curb, will host a series of games to help debate how young people can hold more power in our communities. You’ll also hear from the Future Changemakers and the young people who are benefitting from their decisions.

Never been to a participatory-debate-game before? Expect to hear opinions that are different to yours, join in and leave full of ideas. Plus there will be snacks.
