Simon Pitkeathley, Chair Simon has been CEO of the multi-award winning, public/private partnership, Camden Town Unlimited, since 2007, is CEO of Euston Town and Camden Collective, sits on the London LEP (LEAP), is a Governor at Capital City College Group. “When we think about community we rarely think that business is included.  Camden Giving’s role in bringing these communities together will be vitally important to Camden in the coming years.”

Sue Wilby Sue has worked and lived in Camden for many years and she is currently a Trustee and Chair of Voluntary Action Camden. "For me, Camden Giving is about supporting projects, activities and events that bridge the divides in Camden, helping people to understand and support each other."

Advisory Group

Angela Jewell Angela is a Project Manager in the Regeneration Team at Argent and has worked at King’s Cross for over eight years, on the project currently transforming the former King’s Cross railway lands.  "By bringing together different groups within Camden; residents, charities, local community groups and businesses, I believe Camden Giving can help build an even more thriving and vibrant Camden.”

Deborah Xavier Deborah Xavier is an advisor for London Giving,  an initiative to encourage and support the development of giving schemes across London. "Camden is a vibrant and fast-changing borough rich in talent and resources and I very much look forward to seeing Camden Giving put that to work to improve the lives of its residents."

Dominic Pinkney 'Dominic is the CEO of Volunteer Centre Camden as well as the Founder and Chair of the London Employer Supported Volunteering Network, which aims to develop his vision and passion to develop and improve how businesses can support the local community through volunteering. "Camden Giving will help bring and coordinate businesses as engaged participants in Camden communities, creating reciprocal mechanisms for businesses, local people and community organisations to work together for the good of Camden."

Ian Parkes Ian Parkes joined ELBA in April 2016 having previously run his own business for 15 years, and after a career in regeneration, economic development and skills. "Camden Giving is important because we have seen in other boroughs the power of what can be done when all the different elements of the community - business, public sector, third sector, individuals - come together to make an impact.

Jackie Crombie Jackie is currently seconded from Greggs, where she managed its charitable foundation for 12 years, to Business in the Community where she is working as a business connector in Camden, brokering links between charities and local businesses. "I see Camden Giving as a great opportunity for local businesses in Camden to use their resources and experience to support local charities and community groups, making real and tangible differences to the area where their customers and employees work and live."

"Camden Giving creates an opportunity to build greater social action, bring together skills and resources from businesses together with the voluntary sector and our communities, to enable greater cohesion and ultimately support communities to become happier, healthier and safer."
