This year, the Equality Fund will focus on addressing unfair treatment experienced by people living in Camden due to their race or disability. We recognize that these inequalities can happen independently or at the same time.

As a result of this focus, we are introducing the concept of the 'Camden Pound.' Camden Giving has always aimed to bring together individuals, organizations, and businesses within Camden to support the borough's development by fostering partnerships.

This vote is for you, the alumni, to decide whether the recipients of this year's Equality Fund can apply for a 'Camden Pound.' This is an extra grant of up to £2500 that can be used to access services and products from businesses based in Camden. These businesses are owned by Camden residents who are part of the global majority and the disabled community. Camden Giving will review and approve these businesses.
