Panelist Opportunity - We Make Camden Kit Panelist (2026/2027)

Once again, we’re on the hunt for Camden citizens to sit on our We Make Camden Kit panel!

Fund Background

The We Make Camden Kit is a partnership between Camden citizens, Camden businesses, Camden Council and Camden Giving. The fund was developed because communities need opportunities and spaces to reconnect, access food support, to have more access to power and leadership, improve the health and sustainability of neighbourhoods, and to have activities to empower and support young people. The We Make Camden Kit provides funding, resources, and skills to support residents and community organisations to bring ideas to life and run activities to make Camden a better place for everyone.  

The ‘We Make Camden Kit Fund’ was set up to provides funding and support to Camden citizens and community groups alike who have great ideas for their communities. 

Purpose of Role

We are aiming to recruit 10-12 Camden residents who will receive training and support to decide how this year’s funds are best spent through Camden Giving’s participatory grant-giving process.   

Your role will be to represent Camden residents, assess grant applications, and recommend funding decisions. You should have an understanding and appreciation of the core missions:

• Diversity and Representative Leadership

• Opportunities for Young People

• Access to Food

• Estates and Neighbourhoods, Stronger Communities and Eco-friendly Neighbourhoods

We particularly encourage applications from people from communities and groups that are underrepresented in decision making. These include LGBTQ+ people, men, people with disabilities, care leavers, people under 25 and people from the global majority.
